Zeutenhorst Signs To Play Baseball at Northwestern

Ben Zeutenhorst (Granville, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his career at Northwestern beginning this fall.

[media photo="31295"]Zeutenhorst, the son of Tim Zeutenhorst and Christine Hunt, is a 6-0 right handed pitcher from MOC-FV High School. Zeutenhorst has earned three varsity letters for the Dutch and his 6-4 with a 3.77 ERA in his career with 77 innings pitched. He was named All-District Second Team last season and was also a 2nd Team All-Conference player.

Zeutenhorst has won the Dutch Academic Award, the FFA Achievement Award, and is a member of the National Honor Society. He plans to major in Accounting or Business Ag. while at Northwestern.

"Ben is a great addition to our baseball team," said head coach Brian Wede. "Ben is a high quality pitcher that has proven to have success and he will be a valuable piece of our pitching staff. I am excited to get him on the roster and to watch him develop."
