Northwestern College split a pair of spring season opening matches played today in Owatonna, Minn. The Red Raiders lost to Bethel 9-0 and then came back to defeat Bethany Lutheran 8-1. 

Northwestern, now 2-1 on the year, swept all three doubles matches and won five of the six singles matches in this evening's win over Bethany Lutheran. Freshmen Yemisi Ayeni and Zoe Holscher improved their record to 2-1 in singles play.
