Game Time...Northwestern College will host Dakota State this weekend for a non-conference match-up between ranked teams. Tip-off on Saturday, Dec. 9 at the Bultman Center is scheduled for 3pm. Northwestern, ranked first in last week's coaches' poll, is 10-2 this season while the Trojans bring a 7-4 record into Saturday's contest.Â

The Trojans have won four straight games since a three-game skid in early November, improving to 7-4 on the season. They have wins over two ranked teams, Briar Cliff and Jamestown, along with victories over Trinity Bible and Presentation during their recent surge. DSU is 3-1 against ranked teams this season.
Garner, a former NCAA D-I coach at Drake and Missouri State University, is in his ninth season as head coach at DSU. He returns two starters and five players from a 2016-17 team that finished fifth in the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) with an 8-8 record, 16-16 overall.Â

Nathan Wedel scored a career-high 46 points and
