Northwestern wrapped up its regular season with a pair of losses to conference foes, Concordia and Doane. The Red Raiders dropped their first match 6-3 to the Bulldogs and then was edged by Doane, 5-4.
The Red Raiders end the regular season with a 2-6 league record, 4-13 overall.
Valerie Robinson and McKayla Johnson teamed up to earn the lone win in doubles play against Concordia, defeating Katelinn Wurm and Kayla Smock 8-4 for their fifth win of the year.
Johnson picked up a win at #4 singles in straight sets, as did Daniela Lozano in the top singles spot.
In the Red Raiders' 5-4 setback against Doane, Lozano captured wins at both #1 singles and #1 doubles spots. She improved to 6-10 in singles play and won her first doubles match of the year with partner Kendra McGinnis.Â
Robinson and Tamra Wielenga also picked up wins in singles play against the Tigers.Â
