Northwestern College dropped its first conference match of the season, losing to Midland 6-3 tonight in Orange City, Iowa. 

Valerie Robinson teamed with McKayla Johnson for an 8-1 win at #2 doubles, improving to 3-2 on the year.  Robinson also picked up a win at #2 singles, defeating Whitney Schutt 8-5, to even her record to 6-6. Kendra McGinnis earned the other win for the Red Raiders, defeating Courtney Howton at #3 singles in a tiebreak, 9-8 (7-3).

Northwestern will play a pair of conference matches on the road this weekend, beginning with Hastings on Friday night.
