Northwestern College won a pair of conference tennis matches this weekend played in Lincoln, Neb. The Red Raiders defeated Doane 6-3 on Saturday morning and came back with an 8-1 win over Concordia in the afternoon. With the wins, Northwestern secured the #3 seed in the upcoming six-team GPAC postseason championship to be played next weekend (May 1-2) in Fremont, Neb.

The Red Raiders finish third in the GPAC with a 5-2 record, 10-6 overall, and have won four straight heading into the postseason.

Frankie Eszes, Terry Odera, Daniela Lozano and Valerie Robinson all went a perfect 4-0 on the day, going 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles. 

The postseason tournament bracket will be released by the GPAC office on Monday, April 27.
