Northwestern earned its second straight win, defeating Midland 8-1 in a conference match-up played tonight in Fremont, Neb. The Red Raiders improved to 3-2 in the conference, 3-2 overall.
The Red Raiders swept all three doubles' matches and won five of the six singles' matches. Valerie Robinson on her ninth straight singles' match, defeating Mikah Wright 8-1 at the #4 spot. The junior improved to 11-3 on the season. Daniela Lozano improved her record to 10-3 with a straight sets win over Jordane Warkentin at #3 singles.
Northwestern will play both Doane and Concordia on Saturday, April 25 in the final conference matches of the regular season. Both matches will be played in Omaha, Neb.
