Northwestern dropped a close match 5-4 to conference foe Morningside on Tuesday night in Sioux City, Iowa. The Red Raiders slip to 2-2 in the GPAC and 6-6 overall.
Frankie Eszes picked up a straight sets win at #1 singles, defeating Katie Hanson 6-4, 6-1. The senior then combined with Terry Odera to earn an 8-3 win at #1 doubles. Val Robinson also picked up wins at #4 singles and #2 doubles.
Northwestern will host College of Saint Mary (Neb.) on Saturday, April 18 at 10am.
