Northwestern College athletics hired Emily Dreckman as its Fan Experience and Marketing Assistant in summer 2026. Dreckman oversees game presentation, fan engagement initiatives, promotional planning, and live event production for Northwestern's home athletic events
During her time as a student at Minnesota State University, Mankato, Dreckman gained experience as an athletics department intern and adjunct graduate assistant, where she assisted with in-game entertainment, coordinated promotional giveaways and music playlists, executed game scripts, and managed video board content.
In addition to her roles in live event production, Dreckman was a volunteer with Kiwanis Lights, MyPlace, and Little Dunkers Basketball, where she focused on youth mentorship, event coordination, and basketball coaching.
Dreckman played three seasons of collegiate basketball, spending one season with Minnesota State and two seasons at Kirkwood Community College. She was a member of Kirkwood's 2024 NJCAA National Championship team and was a two-time Academic All-American.
A 2026 graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato, with a degree in sport management, Dreckman resides in Marcus, Iowa.
