Brian Tooker

Brian Tooker joined Northwestern's track and field coaching staff in July 2024, assisting the men's and women's teams with sprints.

"I am thrilled to join Northwestern College and contribute to the growth and success of our track and field athletes," Tooker said. "My goal is to foster a supportive and competitive environment where each athlete can achieve their full potential both on and off the track."

A graduate of Iowa Lakes Community College, Tooker has extensive experience coaching high school and youth sports. In addition to working with the MOC-Floyd Valley track and field teams, he coached girls' basketball for five years and established the Orange City youth football program, coaching the team and managing their non-profit for over a decade.

Tooker enters his role at Northwestern as a sales and marketing professional with Grassroots Management, a position he has held for four years.

"I am excited to have Brian joining our coaching staff," noted Bahrke. "He has a passion for track and field and will be a great mentor to our athletes. He treats people well and will help our athletes reach their potential."

Born and raised in Orange City, Brian is married to his wife, Crisinda, of over 21 years. They have two children: Jackson, a member of Northwestern's football team, and Kaleigh. In his free time, Brian enjoys playing golf and watching his kids' events, cherishing the time spent with his family and supporting their activities.
