Bennett Sikkink

Bennett Sikkink joined the Northwestern College sports medicine team as a full-time assistant in August 2021. He will primarily cover volleyball, wrestling, and baseball and enabling those Raider athletes to continue the calling of Honoring Christ through excellence in athletics.

No stranger to Northwestern College, Sikkink wrestled for head coach Rik Dahl from 2017 to 2021. He was a team captain from 2018 to 2021. His favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 17:7, "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is in the Lord" (ESV).

"Northwestern and the community of Orange City allowed me to grow in areas like academics, athletics, and my faith," said Sikkink. "To have the opportunity to come back and continue to use my degree while pursuing a master's degree was a no brainer."

While working with sports medicine, Sikkink will be pursuing his M.S. degree in sport management from the University of Florida. He graduated from Northwestern in 2021 with a degree in athletic training.Â
