Wayne Westenberg

Wayne Westenberg is in his 16th season as an assistant coach within the Northwestern College volleyball program. Westenberg, a Northwestern College alum, earned his Ed.D. degree from the University of South Dakota and is an associate professor of mathematics at NWC.

Family: wife-Diane; children-Maria, Julie, Kristin and Matt; 11 grandchildren

2007 inductee into the Iowa Girls' Coaches Association Volleyball Hall of Fame
Named the Iowa High School Coach of the Year five times
1999-named National High School Coach of the Year
22 years of coaching High School Volleyball; 593-108-33 record
Led Unity Christian to 10 state tournaments; 5 state championships
