Emma Van Drie

Emma Van Drie was hired in 2020 to be the assistant coach for the Northwestern College women's tennis team. Van Drie also works for the Advancement office at Northwestern.

"I love coaching at Northwestern because I enjoy getting to know each of the students as human beings and players," stated Van Drie. "Much of the work I do recruiting future Raiders allows me to connect with people over every aspect of their college search - from tennis, to their academic interests and their faith."

Van Drie played four years of tennis at Northwestern (2017-20). She finished her career ranked tenth all-time in doubles wins. While playing, Van Drie was a two-time all-conference player and NAIA Scholar Athlete.

She graduated with a bachelors degree in Political Science (2020) from Northwestern.

Emma's favorite Bible verse is 1 Corinthians 13:12. This is her favorite verse because, "It speaks on humility and the mystery of God, while offering comfort in the promise that one day all will be revealed and even now we are fully known by God."

If Emma isn't on the court coaching tennis you can find her hiking or reading.
