High School: decorated high school career in track and cross country for MOC-Floyd Valley High School; four-time state qualifier and three-time qualifier for the Drake Relays; won the state championship as a member of the 4x400 relay as a sophomore and junior; set record for class 3A as a junio; part of a state runner-up 4x200 and distance medley along with a 4x200 that won the Sioux City Relays with a record time; placed in the top five at the state meet seven times and earned all-conference honors eight times.

Academic: Psychology major; Biology minor. Personal: daughter of Mark and Lisa; sister to Sarah, Emily and Rachel; also a letter winner for the Red Raider cross country; 7x NAIA All-American.
