Morgan Swedorski

Morgan Swedorski joined the Northwestern athletic department as a graduate assistant for the 2020-21 season under then head coach Chris Yaw. She enters her fifth season on staff with the women's basketball program and leads the junior varsity program.

She previously served as Northwestern's first-ever full-time Assistant Director of Athletic Communications for the 2021-22 academic year.

"I am honored to have the opportunity to continue to serve here at Northwestern," said Swedorski. "Through working here I have witnessed athletes that pursue excellence in all areas of their life, it is a pretty cool feeling to be a small piece of that."

While at Northwestern, Swedorski earned a Masters of Professional Studies degree in Organizational Leadership (2021) from Fort Hays State University. Prior to joining Northwestern Athletics she earned an undergraduate degree in Communications from Tabor College (2019).

While at Tabor, Swedorski (Ediger) played four years for their basketball program. She earned NAIA All-American honors and was a 1,000-point scorer for the Bluejays. She also earned All-Conference honors all four years, including KCAC Freshman of the Year, and was a two time CoSIDA Academic All-American.

Swedorski's favorite verse is Ephesians 3:20. "This is a great reminder that I serve a God that has the power to accomplish more than I can even ask for," said Swedorski. "To me, that is reassuring and empowering."

Morgan Swedorski is married to her husband, Seth.
