Kristen Lee is in her second season as an assistant for the women's basketball program. She also serves as an admissions counselor.

A native of Dawson, Minn., Lee joins the Red Raiders staff after a two-year stint as a graduate assistant at Southwest Minnesota State University. Lee also served as a coach with the Minnesota Fury, a standout AAU program.

Lee, a 2014 graduate of St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minn., starred four years for the Wildcats' basketball program. Named team captain three years, Lee ranks second all-time in three-pointers and earned academic all-conference honors three times. She received a degree in exercise sports science at St. Catherine's and earned her Master's degree in physical education at SMSU.

"I'm very blessed to have this opportunity to coach with and learn from (head coach) Chris Yaw," commented Lee. "The culture of women's basketball at Northwestern College is outstanding and I am excited to be part of a program that holds such a strong tradition of excellence and success."
