2016: CoSIDA Academic All-American; national qualifier in the 3K (indoor) and 5K (outdoor); GPAC Champion in both the 5K and 10K; all-conference in the 3K; competed in 14 meets with 15 top 10 finishes; won six races and school record holder in the 5K.
2015: all-conference in the 5000m with a fifth place finish at GPAC meet; all-conference honors in the 3000m with a fifth place fourth; competed in 12 meets with 11 top 10 finishes.
2014: competed in four events in earning his first letter for the outdoor season; earned all-conference honors in the 5000m; three top 10 finishes.
High School: four-year letter winner in cross country and track and field; four-time all-state selection who won the class 2A cross country state championship in 2012; state runner-up in 2011 and also placed at the 2009 and 2010 state meets; ran for a Spirit Lake team that won the team title in 2009 and finished second the next year.
Academic: Community Development major. Personal: son of Clay and Kathy; brother to Andy, Blake, Kristi, Faith and Sam; also an All-American for the Red Raider cross country team; national qualifier and all-conference honors as a freshman in 2013.
