2020-21: appeared in nine games as a sophomore.
 
2019-20: played on the junior varsity team.

High School: outstanding four-year career playing for Winterset High School … averaged 14.8 points, 5.8 rebound, 5.3 assists and just over two steals per contest … led team to a third-place finish at the state tournament … terrific senior campaign earned him a spot on both first-team all-conference and all-sub-state … three-time all-conference and all-district … finished career as a 1,000-point scorer and the all-time assist and steals leader at Winterset.
