A 2024 graduate of Tabor College (Kan.), Reed served as a student assistant coach for the Bluejays' men's and women's basketball teams during his time as a student. His coaching responsibilities included creating practice plans and workouts, on-floor practice and drills, and developing scouting reports, among others.
In addition to his work on the court, Reed competed on Tabor's cross country and track and field teams in 2021 and 2022, running the 800m and 1500m.
Reed grew up in Hillsboro, Kansas and will obtain a master's degree in sport leadership from Northwestern College.
