High School: all-conference / all-district in baseball; hit .427 with 34 runs and 29 RBIs in leading his team to a 28-2 record as a senior; stole 17 bases; standout career at multiple positions playing football for West Lyon High School; accounted for over 1,000 all-purpose yards and scored 16 touchdowns in leading the Wildcats to the class 1A state semifinals with an 11-1 record as a senior; totaled a team-high 28 catches for 451 yards and 11 touchdowns, averaging over 16 yards per reception, earning both all-state and first team all-district honors; rushed 31 times for 266 and four scores while adding 318 yards and one score as a kick returner; state qualifier in track.
