Monday, April 2, 2018

Dylan Snyders (Inwood, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.

Snyders is a 5'9", 158 pound running back, receiver, defensive back and kick returner who had a standout career for West Lyon High School. Snyders accounted for over 1,000 all-purpose yards and scored 16 touchdowns in leading the Wildcats to the class 1A state semifinals with an 11-1 record. He totaled a team-high 28 catches for 451 yards and 11 touchdowns, averaging over 16 yards per reception, earning both all-state and first team all-district honors. Snyders rushed 31 times for 266 and four scores while adding 318 yards and one score as a kick returner. He is the son of Luke and Chelsea.

"Dylan had a tremendous senior season," commented Northwestern head coach Matt McCarty. "He is a great athlete with outstanding speed and a threat to score every time he touches the ball. Dylan can play multiple spots on the field and will be a great weapon in our offense and return game."
