2022 FOOTBALL


Northwestern won its third Red Banner by defeating Keiser (Fla.) 35-25. It was the program's first national title since 1983 and first under head coach Matt McCarty.

2012 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL


Northwestern clinched its third straight national title, led by first-year head coach Chris Yaw. A 75-62 victory over College of the Ozarks (Mo.) gave the Red Raiders their fifth title in the sport.

2011 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL


The Red Raiders repeated as national champions, defeating Davenport (Mich.) 88-83. Northwestern avenged its only regular season loss to the Panthers, culminating the Woudstra coaching era with the nation's highest achievement.

2010 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL


Northwestern took down Shawnee State (Ohio) 85-66 to win its second title in three seasons and third in program history. The Raiders scored 457 points in the tournament, breaking the NAIA record.

2008 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL


The Red Raiders won their second championship in school history with an 82-75 victory over College of the Ozarks (Mo.). Deb Remmerde led all scorers with 41 points, leading to NAIA Player of the Year and tournament MVP honors.

2003 MEN'S BASKETBALL


The Raiders won their second national title in three seasons with a 77-57 win against Bethany (Kan.). Top-seeded Northwestern was led by Brandon Woudstra's 20-point, 11-rebound double-double, and Jerod Hoegh added 15 points.

2001 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL


A historic night in Northwestern history saw both the women's and men's teams win national titles, as the Red Raiders rolled to a 77-50 win over Albertson (Idaho). Kara Christoffer's 20 points. Tournament MVP Rachel Binneboese added 19 points of her own. Northwestern was dominant throughout the tournament, with the closest margin of victory being 15 points.

2001 MEN'S BASKETBALL


Northwestern won its first men's basketball title under first-year head coach Kris Korver, defeating MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) 82-78. Brandon Woudstra led the way with 31 points, while Brandon Jacobson had a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards.

1983 FOOTBALL


Hall of Fame Coach Larry “Bubb” Korver led the Raiders to their second national title, defeating Pacific Lutheran in a nail-biting, 25-21 decision. Lee McKinstrey rushed from a yard out with under a minute remaining to bring the Red Banner back to Orange City.

1973 FOOTBALL


One year after falling in the championship game, the Red Raiders defeated Glenville State 10-3 for the first team title in school history. The win marked the first of two national titles for head coach Larry “Bubb” Korver.
