Kennedy High School; threw for 3,136 yards and 33 touchdowns in leading his team to the state quarter finals his senior year; rushed for 412 yards and three scores, earning first team all-league honors for the second straight year; received first team all-city honors and was named the team's most valuable player as a senior; led the LA City Section in passing yards as senior.
