Winterfeld Named GPAC Attacker of the Week for Second Consecutive Time

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Northwestern senior outside hitter Stella Winterfeld has been named the GPAC Attacker of the Week, presented by Hauff/Mid-America Sports, for the second consecutive week.

"It was a great week for our team going 4-0 against some great opponents," head coach Kyle Van Den Bosch said. "Stella was really efficient this week again at the net and scored with a variety of offensive shots. This is a well-deserved honor again for Stella."

Winterfeld led the Raiders offensively in four sweeps, averaging 5.00 kills per set with 27 digs and seven blocks. She had a season-high 23 kills in Friday's win over Ottawa, hitting an efficient .625 in the match.

Northwestern will play its first home match tomorrow, hosting No. 20 Morningside at 7:30 p.m.
