Winterfeld Powers Raiders to 3-0 Week, Earns GPAC Honor

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Northwestern senior outside hitter Stella Winterfeld has been named the GPAC Attacker of the Week, presented by Hauff/Mid-America Sports, for the third time this season.

"We had three good wins this week as a team, with two of them being top-20 wins over Viterbo and Dakota Wesleyan. These honors are well deserved for both Stella and Nyah as they both had excellent weeks."

Winterfeld led the Raiders to a 3-0 week with two wins over top-25 opponents. She averaged 5.11 kills per set, with 20 against Viterbo and 25 against Dakota Wesleyan. She also picked up four service aces and seven blocks on the week.

The Raiders are back at home tomorrow night, hosting Dordt for a 7:30 p.m. first serve.
