Winterfeld Honored as NAIA Attacker of the Week

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Northwestern senior outside hitter Stella Winterfeld has been voted as the NAIA Attacker of the Week after leading the Raiders to a pair of ranked wins last week. It is the third time in her career that she has received a national weekly award.

Winterfeld led the Raiders to a 3-0 week with two wins over top-25 opponents. She averaged 5.11 kills per set, with 20 against Viterbo and 25 against Dakota Wesleyan. She also picked up four service aces and seven blocks on the week. Winterfeld currently leads the GPAC in total kills (231) and kills per set (4.62).

The Raiders are back at home tomorrow night, hosting Dordt for a 7:30 p.m. first serve.
