Northwestern Marks a Pair of Top-10 Finishes at Dordt Open

SIOUX CENTER, Iowa – Northwestern College placed third at the Dordt Sunflower Open with 63 points, a total time of 1:37:45.82 and an average of 19:33.17.

Emily DeGroot led the Red Raiders with a third-place finish in 18:21.12. Kayden Spencer placed seventh in 18:54.83, Allie Hough finished 24th in 19:55.41, each posting top-25 finishes and sub-20 minute times. Brielle Van Sickle took 30th in 20:07.12 and Brooklyn Fryar added a 41st-place finish in 20:27.34.

Dordt won the event, scoring 20 points. Dordt's Joy Koole was the individual winner with a time of 18:04.61.
