LEAVENWORTH, Kan. — Northwestern tied Saint Mary 2-2 on Saturday. The Red Raiders scored both of their goals in the first half and put all four of their shots on goal.

Rasmus Morrison put the Raiders in front at 7:11, finishing off
Bram Zwinkels' assist for the first goal of the half. The Raiders kept pressure on after the opener with corner kicks by Zwinkels and
Juan Miranda and a Miranda shot stopped by a defensive save, and
Gorka Ilundain scored from Miranda's assist at 14:48 to make it 2-0. The Spires cut the deficit at 25:04, then generated later looks through a high header at 32:49 and a wide shot at 36:52, but the Raiders carried a 2-1 lead into halftime.

The second half settled into a stop-start stretch with several fouls and cautions before the Raiders created the first recorded chance of the half, as Morrison forced a save at 65:54 and Miranda took the ensuing corner. The Spires put a shot wide through at 72:40, then had saving attempts at 81:19 and at 85:11. The Raiders earned back-to-back corners from Zwinkels and
Diego Quintero in the 86th minute, but the Spires equalized at 87:15, making it 2-2. The score held from there, and the match finished tied 2-2.
