Potthoff Earns First Career GPAC Weekly Award

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Northwestern setter Nyah Potthoff has been selected as the GPAC Setter of the Week, presented by Hauff Mid-America Sports. It is the first time in her career that she has earned a GPAC weekly award.

"Nyah has transitioned into a 5-1 setter this season and has done an outstanding job leading our offense," head coach Kyle Van Den Bosch said. "She has really embraced that role and has helped lead us to some awesome wins to start the season."

Potthoff dished out a career-high 46 assists in Northwestern's reverse sweep of St. Thomas on Friday and had 30+ assists in each of the Raiders' sweeps on Thursday and Saturday. She averaged 10.09 assists per set and had four service aces on the weekend.

The Raiders will open up GPAC play at Briar Cliff tomorrow night.
