YANKTON, S.D. — Northwestern College secured multiple top finishes at the Mount Marty Twilight, with
Braden Kalvelage taking first in both the 100 meters and 200 meters, alongside victories in the 1500 meters, 5000 meters, and the 4x400 relay.
Sprints
Braden Kalvelage secured first place in both the 100 Meters with a time of 10.52 and the 200 Meters at 21.01. Michael Rodriguez finished third in the 200 Meters, clocking 21.66. The Raiders also placed second in the Men's 4 x 100 Relay with a time of 42.18.
Distance
Caleb Tofteland won the 1500 Meters with a time of 4:07.59.
Ben VanDeBerg claimed first place in the 5000 Meters, finishing in 16:21.73.
Alik McIlravy took first in the 3000 Steeplechase with a time of 10:18.68. The Raiders won the Men's 4 x 400 Relay with a time of 4:22.37.
Hurdles
Kalarga Mukhtar placed fifth in the 110 Hurdles with a time of 15.26. Braylon Van Gelder finished 10th in the 400 Hurdles, clocking 1:03.81.
Jumps
Drew Geetings ranked fifth in the High Jump with a height of 1.85m. In the Pole Vault, Zachary Mayo placed sixth with a height of 4.00m.
Jordan Carter secured fourth place in both the Long Jump and the Triple Jump, with marks of 6.24m and 12.73m, respectively.
Throws
In the Shot Put,
Daniel Greenlee placed 11th with a distance of 13.93m.
Jacob Folkerts threw 42.69m in the Discus, finishing 12th. In the Hammer,
Justin DeHoyos marked 45.00m to place 15th.
Drew Geetings finished fifth in the Javelin with a throw of 48.46m.
