American State Bank Raider Athletes of the Week

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – Northwestern College athletics has named men's golf student-athlete Ray Greller and track and field student-athlete Brielle Engelmann as the Raider Athletes of the Week, presented by American State Bank, for their performances during the week of April 20th.

MALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Ray Greller, Men's Golf

Greller (So., Newberg, Ore.) was the star of the meet on Wednesday, setting a program record as individual champion and helping his squad to a team champion title.
The sophomore breaks the program record for the best single round, shooting eight under par with 63 strokes.
Greller's performance helped the team break the program for best round by a team for the second time this season with 272 strokes.

FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Brielle Engelmann, Track & Field

Engelmann (Jr., Storm Lake, Iowa) won two events over the windy and cold weekend while also setting a new PR in the 400m.
The junior's new PR of 1:02.00 was also the fastest time of the day as she championed the 400m race.
Engelmann's 4x800 team also won their event with a time of 9:43.93, with the junior as the anchor.
