Raiders Finish Weekend in Seward

SEWARD, Neb. - Northwestern fell to Concordia (NE) 7-0 on Saturday.

Concordia (NE) took the doubles point, securing victories on all three courts. At No. 1 doubles, Ishane Derman and Mariana Molano defeated Matilde Di Martino and Pietra Ferreira, 6-0. The No. 3 doubles match concluded next, with Erin Norby and Jacey Powell earning a 6-2 win against Hannah Beckloff and Alloree Else. Concordia (NE) completed their sweep with a 6-2 victory by Alana Lopez Pagan and Chakira Derman over Madalyn Kolb and Bryn Higginbotham at No. 2 doubles.

In singles play, Concordia (NE) maintained its momentum with a straight-set win at No. 3 singles, where Ishane Derman overcame Alloree Else, 6-0, 6-1. Chakira Derman added another point for Concordia (NE) at No. 2 singles, defeating Pietra Ferreira 6-0, 6-2. At No. 4 singles, Alana Lopez Pagan won against Madalyn Kolb, 6-3, 6-1.

Mariana Molano clinched the match for Concordia (NE) at No. 1 singles with a close 7-5, 6-4 victory over Matilde Di Martino. Alexa Richert continued the streak for Concordia (NE) at No. 5 singles, securing a 6-3, 6-2 win against Bryn Higginbotham. The final match saw Nina Milic prevailing over Hannah Beckloff at No. 6 singles, 6-1, 6-2, finalizing Concordia's sweep with a 7-0 dual match victory.
