Langsy Receives Second NAIA Weekly Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Northwestern guard Jalen Langsy has been selected as the NAIA Offensive Player of the Week, the national office announced this morning.

It is the fourth time this season that Northwestern has had an NAIA Player of the Week selected, as both Langsy and Jesse Van Kalsbeek have received national awards twice.

Langsy had a career night in Northwestern's 105-86 win over Dordt, making a program-record 12 threes and scoring 48 points. On the week, Langsy averaged 32.5 points on 59% from the field and 60% from three. Langsy is currently leading the NAIA in points per game (28.2) and is fifth in the country in three-point percentage (51.2%).

The sophomore guard from Shakopee, Minnesota is two made threes away from setting the sophomore record for single-season threes.

The Raiders are on the road this week, heading to Briar Cliff on Wednesday and Mount Marty on Saturday.
