Van Kalsbeek Powers Raiders to Two Wins, Secures GPAC Weekly Award

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Northwestern forward Jesse Van Kalsbeek has been selected as the GPAC Offensive Player of the Week, presented by Hauff Mid-America Sports.

Van Kalsbeek led the Raiders' scoring effort in two wins last week, posting double-doubles in both outings. In Wednesday's win at Waldorf, he posted 25 points, 17 boards, and seven assists. He followed it up with a 20-point, 10-rebound outing in Saturday's win over Dakota Wesleyan.

The Raiders are currently on a 10-game winning streak, led by Van Kalsbeek's NAIA-best 28.2 points per game.

Northwestern will host Dakota Wesleyan in Wednesday's GPAC Quarterfinals. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the Bultman Center.
