Wyatt Bice and women's basketball student-athlete
Margo Schuiteman as the Raider Athletes of the Week, presented by American State Bank, for their performances during the week of January 5th.
MALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Wyatt Bice, Men's Wrestling
- Bice (Jr., St. Michael, Minn.) took third at the Under Armour Invite over the weekend, the highest finish by a Raider on the day.
- The junior picked up two bonus-point wins with a pin and a major decision.
- Bice earned his highest finish of the season with just five takedowns at the tournament.
FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Margo Schuiteman, Women's Wrestling
- Schuiteman (Fr., Sioux Center, Iowa) had a career day against #9 Concordia with her first career double-double.
- The freshman scored 29 points on 68.8% shooting with 10 rebounds, three assists, and two blocks.
- Schuiteman led the team in points (33) and shooting percentage (60%) on the week.
