Raiders Rout Warriors on the Road

FREMONT, Neb. - Northwestern took down Midland with a commanding 90-75 victory on Saturday, showcasing impressive shooting, hitting 52.5% from the field and 42.9% from three-point range.

Northwestern set the tone early in the first half, thanks to Jalen Langsy's opening three-pointer and jumper. The Raiders leveraged solid defense and sharp shooting, with Jesse Van Kalsbeek making his presence felt, grabbing at least 14 rebounds for the second game in a row. As the half moved along, Manny Hammonds and Langsy each sank a three-pointer, pushing the lead to 13 points. Midland tried to rally, but Northwestern held firm. The half wrapped up with Northwestern leading 48–39, maintaining their momentum into the second half.

The Raiders came out strong in the second half, stretching their lead to 15 points. Their shooting beyond the arc was on point, with Brennan Reid nailing two three-pointers to keep the pressure on. Langsy added to the margin with steady scoring, including a three-pointer and several layups. On the defensive end, Northwestern limited the Warriors' scoring chances, with crucial rebounds from Van Kalsbeek and Carter Van Hulzen. Despite Midland's attempts to narrow the gap, Northwestern wrapped up the game with a 90–75 win, keeping control throughout the second half.
