NAIA Honors Langsy as Offensive Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Northwestern guard Jalen Langsy has been selected as the NAIA Offensive Player of the Week, the national office announced this morning.

It is the third time this season that Northwestern has had an NAIA Player of the Week selected, as Langsy joins two-time honoree Jesse Van Kalsbeek.

Langsy scored 41 and 30 points in two wins last week, averaging 35.5 points on 65.9% shooting. He made 11 total threes at a 61.1% clip and was a perfect 6-for-6 from the line. On the year, Langsy has three 40-point games and has gone over 30 six times.

The sophomore from Shakopee, Minnesota is currently second in the NAIA in points per game (27.6).

The Raiders are back in action on Saturday, traveling to Midland for a 3:45 p.m. tip-off.
