Raiders Dominate From End to End

FOREST CITY, Iowa Northwestern College (6-1-1, 3-0-0) defeated Waldorf University (2-7-0, 0-2-0) 3-0 in a dominant road victory on Wednesday. The Raiders scored one goal in the first half and added two more in the second half, while their defense limited the Warriors to just one shot on goal for the entire match. The shutout was secured by Northwestern's goalkeeper, Edoardo Alessandrini, who recorded one save.

The match commenced and Northwestern's offense was active early, with Diego Quintero and Bauti Marques both attempting shots, the latter saved by the Warrior's goalkeeper. Emerson Brazones scored the only goal of the first half for the Raiders in the 41st minute, assisted by Jovany Kabongo. Waldorf's Ryder Tormaschy challenged Alessandrini with a shot saved in the 28th minute, but the home team was unable to score. Northwestern led 1-0 at the end of the first half.

The Red Raiders extended their lead against the Warriors with precise execution in the second half. Drew Darnold scored in the 52nd minute, assisted by Daniel Lindahl, pushing their advantage to 2-0. Rodri Perez further solidified control with a goal in the 57th minute, assisted by Jannes Keuhn, bringing the score to 3-0.
