Northwestern Ranked No. 17 Ahead of New Season

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its men's golf top 25 on Friday, and defending GPAC champion Northwestern came in at No. 17.

This marks Northwestern's highest ranking since the 2017 postseason poll when they were No. 13.

The Raiders found success last season with a GPAC team title and the conference individual champion in Axton Miller. In advancing to the NAIA Championships for the second consecutive year, Northwestern had its second-best national finish in program history, placing in a tie for 16th. The Raiders will look to continue momentum this season with a reloaded roster and first-year head coach Jonathan Beaver.

Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) was picked in the top spot after winning the national title last spring. Oklahoma City, Keiser (Fla.), Dalton State (Ga.), and MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) rounded out the top five.
