Jonathan Beaver

Jonathan Beaver was hired as Northwestern's men's golf head coach in June 2025.

In his first season with the Raiders, Beaver coached the Raiders to a 291.9 average and three event wins. At the Raider Spring Invitational, Northwestern broke the record for single-round team low, shooting a 272 in the first round. In the same round, Ray Greller broke the mark for individual single-round low, scoring 63. Northwestern also won the Verhille Invitational and the Doane Spring Invite.

Bringing extensive knowledge and experience to a perennial GPAC title contender, Beaver is a member and certified professional of the PGA of America. He has held roles as the Director of Golf at Emerald Falls Golf Club in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Landsmeer Golf Club in Orange City and most recently served simultaneously as a PGA Teaching Professional at The Ridge Golf Club in Sioux Center and an assistant head golf coach at Dordt University.

In his role at The Ridge, Beaver created individual and group player development programs and led clinics, lessons, and junior golf programs. While at Dordt, he assisted with practices and tournaments, recruiting, and individual improvement plans.

Beaver received the Nebraska PGA Player Development award in 2019, was a three-time finalist for the Nebraska PGA Youth Development award and a two-time finalist for Nebraska PGA Teacher of the Year.

As a player, Beaver at RHEMA Bible College (Okla.) won the 2005 United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) individual title. He also qualified for the PGA Professional Championship four times (2017-20).

Hailing from Salinas, California, Beaver graduated from RHEMA Bible College in 2005 with a ministry of helps degree. He currently resides in Orange City with his wife, April, and children, Allison and Andrew.
