Second Raiders Giving Day to be Held April 10

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – Northwestern College athletics will present its Second Annual Raiders Giving Day, to be held on Thursday, April 10.

"Raiders Giving Day is an excellent opportunity for our tremendously generous alumni and donors to give to program specific needs that will directly enhance the experience for all Raider Athletic programs," said Vice President for Athletics Tony Hoops. "I'm excited to see the growth of this event in its second year. We are grateful for the supporters of Red Raider Athletics who enable us to Honor Christ Through Excellence in Athletics."

As part of the event, each sport will work toward a fundraising goal, with an overall goal of raising $125,000 as an athletic department. All donations will go directly to the sport-specific program of the donor's choosing or to general athletics if desired. Each gift will be used to enhance all areas of each standout Raiders athletic program selected. In anticipation of the event, Red Raider donors can expect to hear from coaches and athletic staff members outlining their program needs and process for the day. Throughout the giving day, donors and alumni will hear from current Northwestern coaches and student-athletes.

In 2024, the inaugural giving day saw Northwestern raise $79,373, exceeding its goal of $50,000. Northwestern also had 11 programs reach their respective fundraising goals for the event.
