Two Raiders to Battle at NAIA Championships

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – Wrestling enthusiasts will have their eyes set on Park City, Kansas, this weekend for the highly-anticipated NAIA Wrestling Championships.

The event, spanning from Thursday, March 6, to Saturday, March 8, promises thrilling action as wrestlers from across the nation compete for glory. Among the contenders are Northwestern athletes Noah Parmelee and Kaleb Grove, who are set to make their debut appearances at this prestigious meet.

EVENT SCHEDULE
The championships kick off on Thursday, March 6, at 10:00 a.m. This opening day will feature the first two rounds of matches, setting the stage for intense competition. On Friday, the attention shifts to the quarterfinals and semifinals, where wrestlers will strive to secure their spots in the final rounds. The event will culminate on Saturday with placement matches and finals, determining who will stand atop the podium.

RAIDER HIGHLIGHTS
Noah Parmelee, competing in the 141-pound category, will face a challenging first-round encounter against No. 8 seed Thomas Williams from St. Thomas (Fla.). This matchup is set to test Parmelee's skills and determination as he steps onto the national stage for the first time.

Kaleb Grove, wrestling at 197 pounds, is also poised for his first appearance at the NAIA Championships. He will take on No. 14 seed Elias Corona from Southern Oregon in the opening round. Grove's debut at this level presents a significant opportunity to showcase his abilities in his first collegiate season.

The first two days of the event will be broadcast on FloWrestling, with Saturday's events streamed for free on the NAIA Network. TrackWrestling will provide live results of the tournament.
