Northwestern Competes at SDSU D2/NAIA Open

BROOKINGS, S.D. – Northwestern competed inside the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex for the second time this season, this time in the annual SDSU D2/NAIA Open.

Braden Kalvelage was Northwestern's top finisher on the weekend, hitting a 7.33m leap for his second-best jump of the season. Drew Geetings was in the top-five of the high jump with a 1.90 mark, while AJ Bomgaars, Carson Van Sickle, Lane Johnson, and Mike Rodriguez each put up top-10 individual placements as well.

The Red Raider men's 4x400m relay team of Aziah Ashley, Grant Palmer, Vance Hayenga-Johnson, and Carson Van Sickle also put up a season best of 3:19.67.

On the weekend, Northwestern's men's and women's teams combined for 26 PRs.
