It was going to be another tight set for the two GPAC squads as the Raiders trailed 0-3 before climbing back to a 4-3 lead with two kills by
Rylie Franken. It was back and forth for most of the rest of the set but Franken continued her dominance picking up three more kills as the lead was extended to 17-13. Morningside continued to trade blows with the country's number three team but as the Mustangs pulled within one point at 23-22, Northwestern sealed the set at 25-22.
