Tanner Schouten and volleyball student-athlete
Stella Winterfeld as the Raider Athletes of the Week, presented by American State Bank, for their performances during the week of October 13th.
MALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Tanner Schouten, Football
- Schouten (Sr., Oraneg City, Iowa) dominated the Raiders receiving attack in a 28-0 win over Briar Cliff.
- The senior hauled in six catches for 211 yards and three touchdowns, his longest being 62 yards.
- Schouten now has 11 TD receptions and over 1,100 yards on his career.
FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Stella Winterfeld, Volleyball
- Winterfeld (Jr., Sioux Center, Iowa) led her team offensively with 37 kills in two ranked wins over #2 and #18 in the country.
- The junior led the team in kills with 22 in the 3-1 win over #2 Concordia on .319 hitting.
- Winterfeld added 15 kills in the 3-0 sweep of #18 Midland as well as four service aces.
