Noah Parmelee as the Raider Athletes of the Week, presented by American State Bank, for their performances during the week of January 6th.
MALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Noah Parmelee, Wrestling
- Parmelee (Jr., Sioux City, Iowa) had a strong performance at the Central Under Armour Invitational, taking 4th in the Gold 141lb bracket.
- In Saturday's tournament, he went 2-2 and scored 10 team points including a win by major decision and a point differential of +11 in his four matches.
- Parmelee's fourth place finished tied for the highest finish for the Raiders that weekend.
FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Hali Anderson, Women's Basketball
- Anderson (Sr., Saint Ansgar, Iowa) put up 18.5 points, 5.5 assists, and 3.5 steals per contest in a pair of wins last week.
- On Wednesday, the senior went 6-9 from the floor for 13 points and 5 assists, while picking up 3 steals and 2 blocks on the defensive end.
- In Saturday's road win, Anderson came close to a career high scoring 24 points on 75% shooting alongside 6 assists and 4 steals.
