Softball Matches Highest Ranking in Program History

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The latest edition of the NAIA Softball Coaches' Top 25 saw Northwestern jump from No. 14 to No. 11, the national office released this morning.

The No. 11 ranking matches the program's highest ranking, as Northwestern came in at No. 11 in the seventh poll of the 2000 season.

Northwestern holds a record of 22-2 as they are set to begin the 22-game GPAC schedule on Tuesday. They have won their last five games, bringing in the streak from the Tucson Invitational Games.

The top five this week consists of Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) remaining in the top spot, followed by Oklahoma City, Central Methodist (Mo.), Science & Arts (Okla.), and Oregon Tech.
