Raiders Drop Dual to Doane

Orange City, IA - It would be a tough loss for the Raiders as they fall to the Doane Tigers 1-0 after an early goal and unable to answer.

It would be tough defense to start the day for Northwestern against their GPAC opponent of Doane as teams are battling for a spot in the postseason. In the 22nd minute, Doane's Hayle Brodine would be the one who scores first in the contest. Little did either team know it would be the final score of the game as well. The Raiders ended up as the more aggressive team with six shots on goal compared to four from the Tigers with Avril Baccam and Grace Timm leading the charge.

The Raiders fall to 3-11-1 overall on the season in 2024 and a 3-6 record in the GPAC, falling to 10th in the conference.
