• Senior kicker Eli Stader was named the GPAC Special Teams Player of the Week.
• He was a perfect 3-for-3 on field goal attempts with makes of 48, 47, and 27 yards.
• He put up 15 total points on the board in the 51-7 rout of Doane, going 6-for-6 on PAT attempts.
• He's the third Red Raider to earn a weekly honor this season.

• Northwestern has gotten off to fast starts in 2023, outscoring opponents 34-7 in the first quarter this season.
• Only Concordia (Neb.) has scored on the Red Raider defense in the first quarter (Week 1).
• It's been two-straight weeks (Drake & Doane) that the Red Raider defense has held the opponent scoreless in the first 15 minutes of play; while the offense has put up three and 17 points, respectively.

• Senior DL Morris Hofer had a busy day against Doane.
• He tallied a fumble recovery and his first INT of the season.
• The INT was his second of his career; the other coming against Dickinson State last season (Nov. 19, 2022).

• In the second regular season poll, three GPAC teams continue to be ranked in the top-25: Northwestern (No. 1), Morningside (No. 3), and Dordt (No. 16).
• The preseason poll marks the 27^th-straight week NWC has been ranked inside the top-5, dating back to May 17, 2021.
• It's now 67-straight week the Red Raiders have been ranked inside the top-25.

• Saturday's forecast calls for scattered thunderstorms throughout the day with a chance of rain set at 60% (as of Tuesday morning).
• Highs for the day will be in the low 70s with temps expected to dip into the 60s around the 7:00 p.m. kickoff time.
• Lows could dip down into the 50s Saturday night with high humidity levels.
• Winds are expected to be S/Se at 10 to 15mph.

• NWC leads the all-time series 2-0, dating back to the 2021 season when Mount Marty first fielded a football team.
• The Raiders won the only other meeting in Yankton, 56-17 on Oct. 2, 2021.
• McCarty is 2-0 against Mount Marty in his career.
