Raiders and Jimmies to Square Off on Thanksgiving Week

Northwestern concludes four-game homestand

ORANGE CITY, Iowa  – The No. 18-ranked Northwestern Red Raiders (5-0, 1-0 GPAC) will conclude their four-game homestand on Tuesday night, facing the Jimmies of Jamestown (2-4, 1-1 GPAC) inside the Bultman Center.

  • Alex Van Kalsbeek reached 1,500 career points in Saturday's win against Concordia.
RANKED RAIDERS
  • Northwestern received a No. 21 ranking in the preseason NAIA top-25.
  • They moved up to No. 18 in the second poll on November 8.
  • It is their highest ranking in the one-division era, which began in 2020.
SCOUTING THE JIMMIES
  • Coming off of a run to the NAIA Quarterfinals, Jamestown is looking to work their way back to .500 to start the season.
  • The Jimmies split their opening weekend of GPAC play, falling to Hastings and defeating Doane.
  • Jamestown is led in scoring by Silas Bennion, a transfer from Lewis-Clark State College (Idaho), at 19.5 points per game.
  • Will Cordes (13.8) and Cole Woodford (13.0) are also averaging double-digits scoring this season.
